LeadPhone™ will call you when a new lead or an important email arrives... but for that to happen, you have to get the email to your LeadPhone™ email address!  There are several ways to do this.

When your account is created, you will receive an email address structured something like "your.name@leadphone.com" to be used for all of the web sources you want LeadPhone™ to process.  So, if you want leads or emails from a particular source to trigger a LeadPhone™ call, a copy of the emails from that source MUST be sent to your LeadPhone™ address.  There are several ways to accomplish this, and they are listed below, with the easiest being the "Preferred Method."

	Preferred Method The easiest way to set this up is to ask your website vendors to "copy" all of your emails to your LeadPhone™ address.   Be sure they only send a COPY, or "CC" of the emails.  You still need to receive the messages at the address where they are arriving today.  Most websites can do the "copy" for you without any difficulty.

If your Website vendor will not set their system to copy your lead emails to a secondary email address, there are two other approaches you can try.  They aren't quite as simple for you, but either alternative will give you the same result.

	Alternative 1 Check with the company that issued your email address (your "email host").  This could be your real estate company's technology department if you have a company-based email address, like John@AbleRealty.com.  If you have an email address like John@AcmeInternet.com, then you will probably need to talk to your Internet service provider.  They operate the computer that accepts all of your email and holds it for you until you log on to retrieve it. Usually, they can set up the ability to copy all messages to a secondary address.  If they can do this, give them your LeadPhone™ address.

 

	Alternative 2 This method works for everyone, but takes a little bit more setup work. Sign up for a free email account at Google.  They provide an excellent web-based email service, called "GMail" and it is completely free.  Google allows you to set up automatic copying of all email, or only certain types of emails, to another account.  If you wish to use this method, go ahead and create your free Gmail account, then follow our step-by-step instructions on setting up the forwarding.
